Love the handlebar / clip on set up, anybody know anything about it? Cool bike to be sure, but I doubt he will see his 10g's... |

he would be really lucky to get half of what he is asking. Not too many folks who would shell out even $5,000 for a race only bike that cannot be ridden on the street and would not be competitive to race IMO. |

It has a rather rare brake adapter for the additional caliper. |

That is not a true Buell S2 dual caliper racing kit. The real ones did not require any adaptors to use them and if it was an OEM Buell racing piece the calipers should be black anodized not silver like it looks they are in the pics. Yes the extra caliper is worth some money but not a whole lot since it is not a true Buell piece. I am lucky enough to have one of the real S2 OEM Buell dual calipers kit on my bike. That particular dual caliper kit was common on a lot of the tube frame race Buells from '98-'02. It used dual Nissin calipers that were off the shelf pieces as Nissin supplied them as factory pieces for another bike. The dual caliper kit Dan speaks of was a particularly rare set specific for Buells, by Performance Machine, for the '95/'96 S2s, as the caliper was a mirror opposite of the factory "black" anodized PM caliper on those bikes. |
