Avoid cutting the guides. If you push the guides out, you will need oversize guides to replace them, and a valve job since the guides almost never go in exactly straight. A thou off one direction or the other will cause the valve to not seat or lap in correctly.

The best tip I can offer is put them in bubble wrap and mail them to Pammy at Cycle Rama.

the stock xb head flows better than a lightning or thunderstorm head.

"If it goes wrong i can put a xb12/9 head bolt on? W.out change pistons ?"

only if it is a standard S1 with stock pistons. If you have an S1WL then no you cannot as those are domed pistons.

only if it is a standard S1 with stock pistons. If you have an S1WL then no you cannot as those are domed pistons. They can be made to work but you cannot use stock XB heads with those pistons.

Be careful with home porting as you can very easily make them much worse than stock if you do not know what you are doing. You would not believe some of the home porting disasters I have seen sent to me. Some we can save, many we cannot.

The profile for Tony87 shows location as Norway...
There's books about porting /polishing, I hope you read one, not relying on internet tips!
Do you have access to a "flow-bench", or other test method?

XB heads also require drilling and tapping for breather bolts/carb support bracket and a new front mount as the bolt spacing is different.
