had a newer battery go bad, thought it was a bad starter this whole time but i put a new replacement battery in it and now it turns over like a champ. only thing is, now it wont start.... could it have fried something? |

If it was barely able to crank over, it would squirt gas in but not ignite the mixture. I suggest looking over the plugs. BTW, welcome to the club. My 2008 XB12X had its battery crap out on a cold friday evening. The battery was only two months old but at least the H-D dealer took care of me and got me a new one. |

Always 3 things to check: spark u can get a tester or pull the plug, second pull the air filter and squirt some starter fluid into the carb, 3rd check compression. |
