What sportbike would you ride, If you didn't have a Buell? I am really liking the Ninja 600RR |

Most of the replica racers (600's and 1000's) scare the piss out of me. Too much bike for me I think. My buddy rode with us recently with his Gixxer 1000...what a machine! If I were to choose Japanese, it'd probably be the RC-51 though. I really like the looks of the Honda Superhawk too. Not quite a replica racer and a 996 V-twin to boot! |

I have one Gonen and I like it a lot, just not as much as my Buells. If Buell wasn't around? I would take a Norton featherbed frame, toss some modern sportbike running gear at it, and use either sportster or bigtwin engine. Course I have still thought of doing it to have that classic looking Cafe bike. |

Somthing about air-cooled twins. I used to Have a Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport back in Europe. I would love another...perhaps one of the new Guzzi MGS-01 Corsa's......and yes I would race it ! http://www.guzzi-us.com/bikes/supersport.html 119 |

I'd have to go with Tucson, I'm a v-twin whore. Have had a X1 for a few years, but almost bought a Superhawk before I got my Firebolt. No matter how fast the 4 cyl are, they just don't have that v2 grunt. Only sat on RC-51 ( not very cofortable), brother has a 01 Superhawk and have swapped out on a few good twistie rides. That would be my pick. |

An Ural with a hack. All kidding aside, I'd probably have a Ducati Monster or a Moto Guzzi. Never ridden a Guzzi, but I like the way they look. (or I'd still be riding around on my 83 500 Shadow. Man I rode the piss out of that thing.) Jeff |

Triumph Daytona 955I, Yamaha FZ1, Honda 954RR, CBR 600RR, Yamaha R6 or an R1. One of those would be my pick. The first 2 are right at the top of my list. |

A Ducati - either a Monster or one of the new 999s, depending on what mood I was in and how much dough I was willing to lay down! My Buells aren't goiing anywhere for a long time, though, and I'm hoping to add a S1WL to the stable by Christmas! |

Hootowl I was suprisingly disappointed in the demo Monster I rode last sunday...It was light and flickable, but it just didn't seem to have the lowdown balls I was used to in a V-twin. |

Doughnut I find it hard to believe your the only one who posted Aprilia. I would take either a Falco or a Mille if I didn't have my 'Bolt. |

2001 Ducati 748s, red, monoposto, Arrow half-sytem, 40 tooth rear sprocket, lightweight flywheel, dark smoke Double Bubble, 2600 miles. It's in the garage. Bought it new in '02. I like it almost as much as the Buell. It is better to smoke a cigar with though. Mark Never Give Up! |

I'd go with the Aprilia Mille but when this new KTM comes out... I have a feeling that would jump to the top of the list; over the Duc 748, Triumph 955i, and Aprilia. edited by Fbolt on March 25, 2004 |

Ducati Dark (forget the number, it's all flat black) Triumph Speed Triple (Hellcat is at the top of my wish list, I don't think of it as a sportbike) |
