I've had mine to 140mph indicated. Not that it counts speedos are notoriously inaccurate over 100mph. |

yes, I had my XB9 and Xb12 at 140. Not on Public roads though. That is flat out all they will do as you will hit the rev limiter there. Dennis |

Well, it helps if you weigh 150 with all your gear on and are small enough to get behind that little fairing. LOL...I've hit 130+ indicated a couple times. Who knows how fast I was actually going, though. |

XB12R at 6,200rpm is near as damit to 125 mph on salt this calculates out to 137 mph @ 6,800 rpm. The bike will pull through the soft limiter (starts at 6,200 rpm) untill an indicated 7,000 rpm in 5 th gear (hard limiter) if you hold it for any longer than aprox 2 sec at 7K it will shut you down to 6,200 rpm which you do not seem to be able to go through untill you have droped the revs down to somthing close to 5k and away you go again.

Speedo said 140 at Road America and the rev limiter kicked in. GPS on rural flat road said 125 and did not stay on it until rev limiter, wasn't watching speedo. 03 XB9R Buell race kit,XB12 airbox |

I don't have any trouble hitting 130 (indicated) regularly. Run up on a cop the other night doing that with two other riders. Good thing the brakes work! |
