I've replaced the Intake seals (Genuine James) and throttle body (from an 06 Uly) on my 07 Uly. Afterwards, I did the TPS reset procedure.

I can't get the bike to hold an idle. I can get it started for only a second before it coughs and dies (a little bit of smoke from the intake). If I hold open the throttle, I need to keep it above 3k or else it will sputter, cough, and die. Sometimes the bike will backfire when thumbing the starter (sometimes a slight burning smell). If I turn it on, and try to keep the throttle 2-3k, I feel hesitation, but it feels good above 3k. I did get a flashing check engine light (rapid blinking, then a pause, then rapid blinking) but I can't seem to replicate it.

They were changed because I figured why not? I was replacing the throttle body, and I know the stockers don't last as they should. Of course it changed how the bike runs; it WON'T run.

Remember we are not there to here or see your bike. Was there a problem with the original throttle body. Quote:"replacing the throttle body".Anyway the burnt smell could be a crank position sensor going bad..(but I don't want you throwing parts at the problem $$$ until we got the whole story.

The rapid flashing trouble light is the bike going into skip spark to cool the bike down.
