Justin....while I think Al is a great guy, I have a hard time spending $90 for a mirror. I'm using a 3rd Eye bicycle barend mirror. It cost me $15.00. Unlike most bicycle mirrors, it's actually a glass mirror. My only complaint is that it wants to fold at speeds great than 80 mph (just when you really need to be seeing whats behind you ) |

I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust can for an X1. Preferably a Vanes&Hines, but I'd be interested in anything anyone might have laying around that they want to get rid of. This is for a friend who keeps busting the weld on the front hanger of his V&H, and I'm just trying to help him find a replacement can. Thanks - Jason |

Jason, I have an SS2R lying around, but it'll need to be repacked. Let me know if you are interested. Alex |

Dennis, Actually, more like $105 per mirror with the adapters factored in, but who's counting I hear ya. OTOH, the LS mirrors with the ball detent hinges are awfully nice and convenient. I flip the mirrors back while lane splitting here in CA all the time, as well as when I'm parked in my garage, and they snap right back to where I had them before without a second thought. And they are rock steady well past 80MPH, not that I'm usually worried about what's going on *behind* me when I start wicking it up. Expensive, yes. But they were worth it to me even before I bought the biz. They're on the web site now: http://www.americansportbike.com/clickcartpro/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=5266&pg=sto re&sub_pg=prod&ref=504

Looking for a used M2 Cyclone 'Manta Ray' tank in decent condition for my 'Ride Across America' this summer for people involved with the ride or that donate to sign, as a keepsake of the trip. Blue streak prefered, but any color that will let a marker show up is cool. Thanks, Alex |

Awprior....I'm sure that he'd be interested. Let me know how much you want for it. Don't worry about re-packing it either, I can help him do that. Thanks. - Jason |

Does anybody happen to have 2 of the old style front rotor bolts laying around? The tapered ones with the hex in the middle used to attch the brake rotor to the front wheel. chevydan1@hotmail.com edited by buelliedan on March 24, 2004 |

I second ALs' opinion of the CRG mirrors. I am on my second set(first set stolen along with the bike they were attached to) and have ordered the LS arms for retrofit. I have done away with the bar adapters though. Loki |

Dan; I'll see what I have in the spares box. I got a set with the a replacement rotor, but may have thrown them out? Henrik |

Henrik, I too had at least 7 of them at one time but now I can only locate three. I recently acquired an original S2 rotor and need the old style bolts to install it properly. |

Looking for the newest rear shock for a 98 S3, Buell has denied my claim, even thought 2 have now sprung a leak, one every 10k miles, not looking to spend a mint, just a fair price, not interested in another older showa, due to the fact that they grenade every 10k thanks Roger |

If you can not find one you might want to give Race Tech a call. They can rebuild yours for a fair price. |

Helping out another Buell friend again..... He's looking for a tailsection, preferably carbon black, and a seat from an '01 M2. Anyone have either item laying around that they're willing to part with? Feel free to ping or e-mail me at jasonfuhst@hotmail.com Thanks! - Jason |
