Hi, Does anyone know the P/N for the Aux relay in the fuse box for a 06 xb12x and does anyone have one for sale or know a source to purchase one? or does it crossover to a heaven forbid and HD part number? Thanks Dave (Message edited by airdale on October 18, 2014) |

Have a 97 S3T so my PARTS BOOK may not be the correct part number for your bike ... "BUT" the BEST advise "i" can give you is to get the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL and "PARTS BOOK" for your YEAR/MODEL BUELL !!! Call Al at www.AmericanSportBike.com ... |

I don't have a part number handy, but they are common automotive relays. Take it to your local car parts store and they will have a match. Way cheaper than Harley too. |

The bike is in the shop and the mechanic can't find a replacement through HD. And I don't have access to the relay to go shop at a automotive parts house for the correct one. Yes Al at American Sport Bike does have the relay on the site but its only $8.00 and there is a $20.00 min order. So if there is someone out there who knows what the relay crossover to in the automotive world. Please share your Knowledge. Thanks Dave |

>>>Please share your Knowledge. Will do. If your mechanic can't find the relay (it's one of the most common automotive parts there are . . . akin to an valve stem) that's one problem. If you can't find another $12 worth of stuff to buy from Al . . well, that prompts and entirely new set of questions. I'd retrieve the bike. From what you have shared, having that mechanic near it is inviting trouble. Browse Al's catalog and pick up your next spare oil filter or something (I, as a Ulysses owner, typically fill outsell orders with things like those nylon washers, shoulder bolts, spare fasteners and the gaskets I use for clutch and primary chain inspections) . . . You'll thank us. Good luck ! |

Not trying to be rude here but advice is not being really helpful. The bike has been down for 2 months, I know its my fault. I was not able to diagnose my own electrical issue. Hence taking to a mechanic, who at least was able to find some causes to the issue I am having. I know this board has a wealth of information between its members and for that I am very thankful. After finding a HD p/n for the relay on this board via a search of posts and googling that I was able to find other common automotive mfg. relays, From Harley sites: Borg Warner R3154 Gp Sorenson 41-5154 Niehoff RL 3538 HD P/N 31522-00C Suzuki relay part number 38860-50G10 AC Delco # 212-360 FRC7A-N Drag Specialties AR4-012-C21S Motorcycle Superstore and from a Buell site (they use the AR4-012-C21S) SMP #16406 General 75157 Duralast part #19389 GEI AR4-012-C21S Panasonic CM1-D-12V thanks for all help Dave (Message edited by airdale on October 19, 2014) |

Excellent. And .....they are cheap. I generally keep a spare in the toolbox ... Never know when you'll need it for auxiallry lights, horn or Accesories. Good info. |
