Statement from AMA Pro Racing on the future of the professional road racing discipline"Daytona Motorsports Group (DMG) confirms the transfer of sanctioning, operational, promotional and commercial rights for professional motorcycle road racing to the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and KRAVE Group. Following the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park on Sept. 13-14, DMG no longer will conduct and promote the professional road racing discipline. The company will continue to sanction AMA Pro Flat Track, Motocross and Hillclimb." |

Bill the AMA has been the US rep for the FIM in the past, They sold this to DMG and have bought it back. So this series has always been FIM sanctioned, |

This will apparently be a US/Canada series, so the FIM involvement will be crucial for Canadian sanctioning. Be interesting to see what tracks in Canada are homologated, as I understand their tracks aren't nearly as good as ours as far as speed and run-off is concerned. |

Anyone going to be in Millville this weekend? I plan on being there both days (already pre-ordered my tickets and VIP Paddock Parking). |

Cory crashed in Q1 so was 20th. Rain came in Q2 so he will start 20. I looks from radar like it will be a wet race. He has aways been a good rider in the rain so I look for him to pick up a lot of places. |

*** SPOILER ALERT *** Podium finish for Larry Pegram! 3rd place! Cory was as high as 5th, but faded late in the race. Still he managed an 8th place finish, so good for him. |

*** SPOILER ALERT *** Cory's tweet @Corywest13: 20th to 5th in the rain race. Had a good rhythm going until the quick shifter & TC quit working... Made for some exciting last laps! P8 at end |

Hey Tim, we went looking for you be we never saw Bike #123 anywhere. We found Shelina's bike but she was nowhere around. Better weather tomorrow... we'll try try again! PS: The clutch on the EBR 1190SX feels just as stiff as the clutch I felt on the 1190RX. No difference. |

The rain on Saturday made for an interesting fight in the Superbike race between Hayes and Hayden. That last lap/last corner pass by Hayes was eye-opening. Pegram got third and was apparently the ONLY rider who finished who wasn't lapped by the Hayden/Hayes freight train. Sunday was a typical Hayes blow-out. I was chatting with Shelina Moreda, and like a lot of the XR1200 racers, she doesn't know what she's going to be doing next year. It'll be interesting to find out. |

End of an Era. It was interesting that the broadcast team, namely Scott Russel are also unsure about what will happen next year. I will say that Fanschoice.TV does allow for a more in depth look at the race day. Far better than the normal commercials mid race affairs we saw with Fox and Speed. Hopefully CBSS will be back in the proverbial picture for next year. Its going to be a wild off season. |

What a great finish to the season for EBR. Larry on the Podium, Cory beating the Filmore and his KTM in the championship, and EBR beating KTM in manufacturer points. |
