The circlip that holds the plug onto the crank nut access is the one I'm talking about here. It slipped off of my snap ring pliers and easily reached escape velocity placing it in a low Earth orbit. I need to know what size it is so I can get another, and I can't seem to find it in my service manual. My valve check recovery is hanging up on this one thing now. It's costing me a fortune to drive the PanzerWaggen to work at night so I'd like to get this bike operational again. Thanks Levi |

Might try an auto parts store or maybe Ace and get a kit of them in various sizes. |

That's why they are called Jesus clips. As in "Jesus, where did that clip go!" |

If you have a Pep-Boys, I have had good luck there. They were the only store around me that had a spring-type hose clamp for my recent Master Cylinder install last weekend. |

I think the OP is trying to avoid spending $5 on the Circlip from a HD shop...he's looking for the dimensions to get one from a parts store somewhere. |

Hey huge thanks to all of you for this. I now have enough information to get a replacement in my opinion. I do really appreciate you guys dog piling on this one for me. It's very frustrating having the whole program shut down by a wee clip. Now off to source the part. thx Levi |

To clarify, it's the #2 p/n CE0007.1AM Going to look for a suitable sub at the Fastenal store in town. Failing that I'll try to find an HD in the states that has one. |
