...and what about the proposed EBR AX? I love my 2006 Uly and am hoping to park a future AX next to it. Items I hope EBR will include in its design and development include: 1. Off road capability capitalizing on the constant improvements seen in the 06-10 Ulysses' models. 2. Robust and bright headlamps. 3. Integrated Garmin NAV, SAT and ground based radios and Bluetooth package. 4. Detachable solid luggage three-pack not easily scratched. It is a short list to re-start the conversation about our future EBR AXs. What would you like to see on it? |

Everything thought out for ease of maintenance. For instance, not having O2 sensors that are a pain to change out because of location. AND Plug changing should be as easy a change as they are on any Harley. Oil plugs should be stainless into stainless not stainless into aluminum. Oil level check could easily be a bulkhead glass site like in my old yamaha radian. Counter sprocket or pulley pivot center on the swingarm so that there are no chain/belt tight or loose spots during suspension travel. Every readout option possible instead of having to having go to TunerPro or other to just find out what a engine code is. Comfortable day long riding seat. Adjustable foot peg and handlebar position. Make it a gas/electric hybrid with 100 mpg capability. Now that would be a selling point that would rock the cycle world. After riding an electric bike I certainly love that instant off the bottom full on torque. |

And back to the annual "Buell sponsored" Buell Homecoming event that was always something to look forward to. |

Electraglider_1997, most of what you ask is already on the 1125/1190 bikes |

I second the comment about the annual Buell Homecoming event. Maximum (who just got back from a military tour in Afghanistan yesterday) and I made the 25th... and it was one of the greatest rides and events I have ever been a part of! East Troy or bust! |

Troyyz, Remember when Maximum's son darned near killed himself up at Road America. He had to have his Blast carted home in a pickup while he was patched up in the local hospital. Sure was happy that he wasn't hurt worse than he was. What is Steve up to these days and does he still have his Uly? |

Yes I do... scary time. Glad it all worked out. Spoke with Steve yesterday after there welcome home ceremony. He is doing well. Planning a well deserved 60 days of time off for family, reintegration and of course some riding. I am back in late SEP and am looking forward to enjoying some fall weather riding the mountains with him. He has his original 06 XB12X, and an 08 XB12XT, and 09 1125R and I think he still has his Blast, reconstructed from the crash. I am enjoying my rides here in Arizona. There is some really hospitable Buell riders down here and the region has some fun roadways. |

Good to hear Steve's back and doing well. I still have his throttle body sitting on my dining room table. It's my test fixture for the shafts. and no, I am not married! |

That doesn't seem right. The AX is supposed to be a year to 1.5 years away. Can anyone confirm the AX debut?? |

Anonymous posted elsewhere that the AX was not being shown at it anyway. |
