Day 2 of wrestling with my rear axle so I can get my new tire mounted. First time removing it for me, as I am a fairly new Uly owner. Lube, hammering, and an 18 inch breaker bar did nothing. Finally decided to heat the axle and swingarm with a hairdryer (which got things surprisingly hot) and shove an ice cube inside the axle. Stepped on the breaker bar and POW! she was free. I shouted with joy. Anti-seize for sure when that bad boy goes back in. |

And don't go light on the anti-seize. I paint the whole axle. |

I woke up one night to my wife rubbing anti seize all over me. She thought it said anti sleaze. She's blond. |

Or you can do what I have just done which is to try and "break" a sticking axle, on the hub tube, without noticing that the bike, MZ, had pinch bolts on BOTH forks? Man what a dumb ass. Nice work, Ryanco. |
