Ok what do I need to do to put Renthal bars on the 9R?? Is it pretty easy? Dont want to have to piss about too much, and want to be able to put it back to standard when I flog it. Any ideas?? Anyone seen it? |

No its just my todger and Hairy brains are so damd large that its either scoop out a section of the airbox and may a cosy little sack holder,or lift the bars up so I can try some stunting.....

Dude, I just put a set of Renthal bars on my XB9S and they rock ! I removed the cross bar and pad (of course) and trimmed 3/4" off each end so the cables would reach. I really like them and they look good too. Of course, I'm talking about the dirt bike bars and not some sort of ape hangers. These have a 2" rise and a 3 1/2 set back. Just low and forward enough to get down out of the wind, but not a torture rack like the Cross roads bars on my S1 are. edited by needforspeed2 on March 19, 2004 |
