I won't be able to make it to the benefit as I'll be in San Diego for the weekend. I hope all goes well, with my father similar situation (different disease), I know how much every little bit helps. Count me in with Impulse, I can't make it, but I'll make the donation. | ||

Have to say we have some talent i didn't realize in the UKES club! the Sieg's benefit party was a smashing success i would have to say, and a riot as well. MOE the fish rocked! Sounded awesome....and surprise: Kate's got a set of pipes on her! pretty impressive.....thanks for the great time guys and I hope the results of the benefit were good.....I imagine they must have been based on the attendance alone. | ||

I couldn't make it and I regret that but two busy days and a 2:30am wake up today just didn't allow me to. I do have a check that is ready for the cause though and I will bring on the 30th. Also, It's been dead quiet around here. Is everybody as busy as I am? JT | ||

Thanks for coming, Wes. It was great to see you! Thanks also to Grape and CJ. You guys RAWK! Yes, the benefit was more than a success. We doubled our goal. We raised over $5,000!!! Not a single person took a paycheck, not the bartenders, not the soundman, nobody! The bartenders even donated their tip jar! There were a lot of big hearts in that room, and noone can deny it. A lot of beer too - lol. | ||

Don,Kate thats great that you's had such a great turnout.My work really slammed it to me this weekend.Andrea and I are still planning to donate to the cause so don't count us out. Got a email today from a long lost Ukes club member......The GLUE EATER,I mean aka JoeBuell.Also known as Joe Broz one of are past Directers.He says he's been working his ass off but doing fine.Still has the Buell.I kinda looked at his profile and could see he was lurking quite often so I emailed him and posted something hoping for a response,I got one.He says he'll be coming to a meeting real soon.Looking forward to seeing ya again ya GLUE EATER.LOL | ||

Thanks for Grape and CJ who helped clean up after the party. It was amazing how soo many people pulled together and made it such an awesome success! I talked to my Aunt and Uncle and they told me that they got more checks in the mail and the grand total that we raised for the benefit was: $6,963.00 Thanks to the others who are still willing to donate.
