1995 Black Buell S2 Thunderbolt 10,987 miles Prestonsburg, KY I'm the second owner. The bike was purchased 12/09 with 9,050 miles. I've since rebuilt the gutted Supertrapp muffler and replaced the seemingly original tires with Michelin Pilot Road 2 (ordered 8/13, maybe 3 rides and less than 200 miles on them). I had to remove the original turn signals because they were falling apart and replaced them with LED signals and load resistors. The paint has bubbles that appeared while in storage the first winter I had it. They haven't gotten worse. I'm looking to get $3,200 but am willing to negotiate. I wanted to post the bike on this site first where I know it is appreciated. I have a couple more pictures located in this album: http://s1381.photobucket.com/user/sohammed/slidesh ow/ |

Price reduced to $2,800. I'd really like to sell soon to go towards a work vehicle (anyone have a XJ Cherokee to trade?). If there isn't any interest, I'll be posting to Craigslist and possibly CycleTrader. |

Possibly. I'm really needing cash or a 4WD work vehicle, but I won't say no without hearing the offer. |

I need another S2 like a hole in my head, but you said XJ....
'92, 4.0/auto, 230k miles. ish. It's a work truck - I bought it from Potomac Edison with 5 pistons in the engine. Put in a used piston/rod with new rings and ball-honed bore (it was the #1). New rod and main bearings. Hi volume oil pump. Rear main seal. Top end set. All-aluminum radiator. That was...oh...30k miles ago? Starts every time. 4x4 perfect. 2" lift (rear helpers, front spacers). Tires are about 30" (I want to say 235/75-15), set of 5, 5 tire rotations. Interior is...a work truck. Needs headliner cloth, carpet is dirty, front seats have worn covers on them. Manual windows, locks, mirrors. Had a/c but a deer took out the condenser. Blower works great, heat will melt your boots. I put a Limited gauge cluster in - gas, oil, temp, tach, volts - instead of the factory speedo/fuel setup. 40psi oil pressure at a hot idle. If you're interested, let me know and I can get you details and some more photos. I hadn't thought about getting rid of it (or getting another S2) till I saw your post that said "possible XJ trade" so I figured what the hell... Oh, the truck and I are in MD, about an hour N of DC. |

That's tempting Ratbuell.. Older than I was looking for, but those things are easy to work on. I've got a sale pending, but if things don't work out with that I'll let you know. |

Quote "Had a/c but a deer took out the condenser" That is a pretty dexterous deer - usually those hooves play hell with using hand tools. Closest I have seen is a goat who could do minor tune ups. |

well it wasn't very precise...it also took out the grille, fender, and drivers door. Bodywork has been fixed; didn't bother with the a/c. That's what window cranks are for |
