Sorry Wycked, I just got home from a night of "BuZZin". Thought I was talking to the old Drunk Bartimus. I should have been a little more clear. I'll probably be up in Phoenix on Wed. to buy a S2. If you're out and about , come join us . If I'm not there on Wed. it will mean I'm dealing on a S1 here locally. Which everone I get first-I dont care. I'd like to have them both at the same time-but I dont have Bart's money. Al |

Well since you are going to be up in Phoenix looking at bikes, and you are already looking at an S1 and an S2 - you should look at my S3 too. Buells are fun - collect the whole set... |

Is it this weekend? If so I can't make it on Saturday (traffic school...) but I can try Sunday... I may need to go down to the ren fest with my GF and some other friends this Sunday. If not, I'll be there. I think the ren-fest thing is the 27th-28th but I'll call Rachel to confirm that. |

LOL, yeah... 86 in a 65. I thought it was a 75 and traffic was doing 80... I got stooped AGAIN yesterday... after asking me questions about my bike for two minutes the officer finally asked me if I had a plate... |

You have definitely earned your title....ticket magnet!! I hope you all appreciate the weather the weather magnet has brought for you! |

I just checked with my friends up here and it looks like we are headed to the ren-fest next weekend and nothing too pressing this Sunday... Problem is that I REALLY need to get the forks rebuilt on the CB750 so I can give it to it's new owner... AND there's an F1 race at Sepang so I probably won't be able to make it to the bike week unless it's still going on next Saturday... The salt river ride... No, I haven't even LOOKED at the ticket yet other than when I signed it. I'm still thanking God that he didn't tag me for the speed. I talked to the traffic school lady though and she said it's pretty much one of those fairly meaningless tickets. Also, I guess if you have insurance from out of state it's less likely that they will check your record after they write a policy for you. Hopefully that holds true... Anyway, Unless I make it down there next Saturday I probably won't be doing the bike week thing. I REALLY REALLY want to though... |

OK, I just actually CHECKED the AZ Bikeweek web page... I guess I'll shoot for making it on the 27th... I just want to ride an RC51 or a Duck 749. Those were the two bikes I was looking at when I was bike shopping. I wonder if they have leathers they'll rent out? I am guessing you mean they open at six on Friday??? I'd have to get there in under an hour... that could be done... Too bad I'm a MAGNET!!! I'll just try to be there about ten or eleven on Saturday. I don't mind waiting in line all day for a couple demo rides. You wouldn't happen to have asked him what bikes they have? |

You're getting Az Bike Week and Spring Fest at Firebird mixed up. I'm sorry I didn't clarify. I'm going to Spring Fest at Firebird on Sun. the 21st. Here's the web page... http://www.aztrackday.com/events/032104.asp They've got the manufacturer list on this page. Still hope you can make it. I'm looking at going to the ren-fair on Sat the 20 in the afternoon. BTW All, my Jardine replacement chin mounts have broken for the second time! They've supplied me with another spare but I've decided to run without the fairing until they reproduce the mount in steel! Reporting from the armpit of AZ, Charlieboy |

Hey Charlie, I'd meet you there on Sunday but the wife would have a cow, being that we are moving in this weekend to our house in Gilbert. If you want to stop by and check out the pad let me know, I'll be on leave all next week. Ski |

OK, yeah... I can be such a dumbass. No wonder I couldn't find anything about demo rides at the bike week site . I'll be in Goodyear that day picking up the rest of my girlfriend's furniture so I MIGHT make it, but I need to rebuild those forks that day as well... |

Damn...My front tire isn't in yet and I haven't put my new rear on. I'm not thinking the bald rear (and it's bald!!!) could take another 300 mile trip! Hey Al....gotta chopper you might want to lend out this weekend???? I can go, but I don't think my bike can!

I'm in the same boat... I need tires before I can do any more riding that's not back and forth to work. I need to head to Show-Low the first weekend of next month too... |

hey brian that vid was cool, It looks like tucson harley got my rear tire in. They called me today, Think it would be fine to have them install the rear before i have them install the front? The front tire looks too be in "okay" shape. Thing is i dont wana bring the car there and pick up my tire then have to bring it back to get it installed. what you think? In eather case my old dunlop is going to be spread out in a long streek across the compusa parking lot on my way to drop the bike off for the install. Ben |

I was thinking ahead...I bought my rear and had it BEFORE our last Salt River trip! I'm just too cheap! I'm waiting on Pirelli to send me my front tire so I can get them done at the same time. Maybe I'll follow in my Miata as a chase car. It's pretty damn fun in the twisty stuff with the top down! Just won't be able to lean into the corners (or keep up with you guys!). ZOOM-ZOOM! |
