So, I'm an idiot. When I checked my oil it was a little low. After I added a some oil, I failed to put the dipstick back in. Now I can't find it. I'm pretty sure I set it on the swing arm (or somewhere back there on the bike), and it must have fallen off somewhere down the road. I've been doing some internet searches and can't find any plane jane stock dipsticks. The Oil temp ones and billet aluminum are cool, but I don't need that and would rather not pay for it. Where do I get one? The last Harley dealer I went in to get a couple screws didn't have a Buell catalog so he couldn't look up the part number. He gave me sportster 1200 screws and they worked fine. Thanks. Oh, and try not to flame me too bad. I know what a knucklehead I am. |
