I'm going to post this on Craigslist and Cycle Trader next week, but I wanted to give badwebbers the first chance. I recently bought a Lightning which has me really strapped for cash, so the Firebolt must go. For sale is a 2009 XB12R Firebolt for $6400 OBO. I bought the bike new from Dallas HD in May 2010, and have since put only 4,081 miles on it (as of posting). It's in excellent condition and has been garage-kept; never dropped or abused. Modifications: American Sport Bike Open Airbox Kit Drummer Exhaust EBR Race ECM (08-09 XB12 Drummer specific) American Sport Bike Billet Catch Can American Sport Bike Seat Retention Kit Helmet lock underneath passenger seat Sticker/reflector removal I still have the stock ECM and Airbox that will be included with the sale. Also included is a 2009 Service Manual. I'm located in Mobile, AL. Cash only, test rides ok, clean title in hand. Email me at wtmcknight@gmail.com if interested.

No interest in a low miles Firebolt? I won't be insulted by offers less than the asking price. The worst thing I'll do is say no or counter. Email me if you'd like bigger pictures or more information. I'm posting it on nationwide ads tomorrow, but I just hope it sells to someone who knows how to maintain it and respects how rare Buells are and will be. It's a great motorcycle, and I'd be sick if I sold it to someone that turned it into this:

Not to sidetrack your sale but up until now I thought it would be a huge task to put a sidedraft carb on an xb engine. Guess I was wrong. |

I think I saw another picture of that "bike" that showed he cut a hole through the frame and welded another piece in. It probably was a huge undertaking, which further begs the question, why? |

Mm128, send me an email at the address above to discuss price. From your profile, it looks like you're not too far away. |

Sent you an email Bama (from mykolab.com address). Looks like the pictures were taken when it was still stock. Is that correct? If so, could you post (or email me) pics of it's current state? Thanks, Adam |

These are current pictures taken on June 24th. The only visual difference from stock is the shorter Drummer exhaust and the lack of stickers and reflectors. You can't see the open airbox kit (underneath airbox cover), and I didn't post a picture showing the catch can, oops. |
