My '99 S3 had a fuel pump failure (pictures below) Some speculate our ethanol mix. Installing a fuel pump I'm getting old and forgot where a rubberized washer/seal goes. The fuel fitting or the electrical wiring? (Shown centered .. yes posing between the 2 fittings for the picture only) The fuel pump assy P0130.KB came with a new rubberized washer/seal (see pictures below) The brass fuel fitting has an O ring seal and the electrical wire has a washer and nut. Both have a rubber seal on the inside of the tank.

I don't have mine to look at in front of me but the washer with the seal should go on the electrical connector from what I see working in aviation. Did it also come with a new o-ring for the brass fitting? |

mind if I ask where you got the new pump and how much? I'm putting a '99 X1 together (I got it in boxes) and the pump may be having issues. Oh, and mine had the large grommet/washer on the electrical feed |
