Hey guys, noticed this morning on my way to work. (getting gas actually and resetting the trip) It appears that something, rodent or bird, has been biting at the buttons on my cluster. its garage kept and I don't have mice..... to my knowledge. still enough to piss me off cause now I am wondering what all else might be getting chewed on. has this happened to anyone else? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone was willing to part with a broken cluster, or at least the buttons on the cheap so I can take mine apart and swap them. Its small but I know its going to bug me over time. |

You could always use silicon to fill the holes. At least its water tight. |

...in the early days - some of the HD dealers replaced the IC due to the "drain" or other issues...might want to drop by a HD dealer to see if he has any "lost in the back"...there is one on ebay ...damaged...sez make offer? http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-09-Buell-1125-CR-R-OEM- GAUGE-CLUSTER-SPEEDO-TACHOMETER-DAMAGED-/161341874 861?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2590 b9a2ad&vxp=mtr |

Maybe I'm being picky. The buttons aren't missing and the cluster is still water tight. it just looks like they have been chewed on at the corners. I saw that one on eBay...... guess the guy didn't like my offer. |
