Been away riding and rebuilding my S1. Its almost done. Carbon Tank overlay came out amazing. Labour of love with this one. Who has a Buell Carbon front fender they want to sell me? or trade for my old painted one. I really dont want to sand anymore.

Thanks for the compliments. More pictures will come once it gets off my bench. Need to finish up a few small details and sunshine! If you want a Carbon overlay done on your tank its going to cost you in time. Not materials. I have close to 100 hours into that tank. It will not bubble. That, I am confident in... I tore this bike down last May for a rebuild as I spun my crank pin... This bike will be road worthy by Saturday. |

I know the mirror has got to go. Its all I had while I am waiting on my Oberon mirror. http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/info% 5fMIS%5f6014%2ehtml Red button is start button. looking into micro switches for the left side. Gotta ditch the block switch housing. |

This is what I would lick to do for switches they can go right into the grip as well. Use these with an M Lock http://www.gripace.com |

Did you or someone overlay the CF for you? |

I did the CF overlay... No, I am not doing it again. Yes I can tell and show you step by step and what products to use. Its labour intensive and time consuming.... The final product is very rewarding though. |

I would be interested, I have a spare S1 tank and I have been trying to find some way to keep one from bubbling. I had an idea to do one with yellow weave armrid on my spare tank to match the rest of my yellow S1. you can email me at slimspidey AT gmail DOT com if you do not want to post. Thanks |
