Due to other things in my life, the Buells had taken a back seat for me. But now I'm back into riding on a regular basis. That being said...it's been a few years since I've had to put tires on my S3T. I've run almost every brand out there in the past 14 years, so I'm not brand loyal. Most of my riding on this bike is commuting. It's 150 miles round trip each day on superslab. Nothing exciting but the gas savings are great! So what's out there now for tires? Thanks! |

Oh lord...another tire thread... I run Michelin pilot road 3s. Dual compound, excellent treadwear, but still sticky all the way to the sidewall. |

I know, I know....the dreaded tire thread I was leaning towards the Pilot Road 3 or 4. Seems like the leftover stock of Pilot Road 3 is the better bang for the buck |

I like Metzler Z7s. Good straight up tread ware, great laid over traction. |

I'll be honest.. Leftover stock is generally fine with me because I can get a pair for $200 or less most of the time. I ordered a set of Conti Trail Attacks for that last week. It makes a lot more sense when you change and balance your own tires though because it saves you $75-150 each change . |

Phelan...where did you get the Conti for that price? I found the Michelins for $263 a pair shipped. |

I just put on a pair of Pilot Power 2ct on my S3T and so far so good. I've heard great things about the tread life on the pilots. |
