Heck of a deal on the buy it now! A little bit different than what is posted on the headlight http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buell-Other-Buell-1991-RS- 1200-/291187467725?forcerrptr=true&hash=item43cc20 25cd&item=291187467725&pt=US_motorcycles |

I think the idea is that the sticker was the original purchase price from the dealer. $30,000 (because likely no one would outbid the min) is crazy high, but at the same time, if it's in a good of condition as the picture and ad warrant, where would you find a more pristine, original example? |

See it this way: if you are worth $300,000,000, own roughly 100 bikes and 100 cars, worth many millions, own 3 airport hangars and have a staff of 8 to care for your toys, and you wanted to add a Buell to your collection, $30K is not even milk money. Given that this is probably the best Westwind on the planet, it's properly priced. You and I are not the prospective buyers for this bike, but there are folks out there who will see this as a good investment for relatively little money. |

I don't disagree one bit, I can only wish. But, if I were selling a piece of American Motorcycle Art/History to that small demographic it wouldn't be on eBay. |
