Im selling my 2010 Buell Ulysses. The bike has a rebuilt title (fully street legal and insurable). Bike is VIN 007 and has 7600 miles. Here is the deal, I need the bike gone ASAP so for the BIKE ONLY I am selling it for $4500. (NO BAGS FOR THIS PRICE). If you want some extras I have all sorts of extras to include (for a price): DHM Axle Sliders 2006 Low gel seat Buell Zumo 550 GPS Aprillia Tuono mirrors Barkbusters Outdoorsman Top Case Hepco Side Bags Buell Bag Liners 2 Uly Backpacks Tank Bag Messenger bag If I don't get a serious buyer in the next week or so, I WILL part it out. If you are interested in parts/pieces reply here with what you would like. I am looking for reasonable prices. Im not out to price gouge anyone. Im sure I can beat "fair market price" AKA eBay on these parts. I would prefer to sell the bike to someone who will keep it on the road, but I need some cash. We all know I can get a lot more for parting it out, but I would rather see someone ride it. Here are my craigslist posts: http://appleton.craigslist.org/mcy/4550610482.html http://appleton.craigslist.org/mcy/4556075227.html

Apparently my PMs didn't go through to you gentlemen. I didn't hear back from you John, so I assumed you weren't interested any further. Lynrd- Yes it is a 2010. Frame and motor are original and match the VIN. Bike has a Wisconsin rebuilt title, you would need to check with your local DMV if you needed anything additional for registration in your state. I know CA can be a little weird at times. Rbuck53- The low seat is in excellent shape and is not on the bike currently but it is the all black low gel seat. |

Fotoguzzi- Yes I still have the 2010 rear wheel Jrobey- Check your PM. There has been a little interest in the whole bike. I should know more by the end of the week. If I end up parting the bike out I will most likely put up an ad in the "parts" section with a breakdown of costs and parts/assemblies. |

For everyone here waiting for parts. First dibs GOES to any individual who buys the bike (IF IT SELLS). I have had some interest in the last couple days, but no takers as of yet. If I don't get a solid offer on the bike by sunday night, I will start the process of parting it out, and I will get back to everyone with prices as well as a complete part out list. Rbuck53- I don't remember seeing anything from you yesterday. I still have you down as interested in the low seat. Maddiemsu- Got your PM. I have to look at prices. I will have to take some close up photos for you as well. The panels have been painted. (Message edited by chrisrogers3 on July 11, 2014) |

Woodnbow- Ive contacted him twice, apparently he doesn't want one that bad. I had a guy look at the bike this weekend, he is trying to find funds. I gave him until Wednesday to come up with cash for the whole bike. However, he put no money down so its still for sale. $4500 Bike only (steal in my opinion) $5900 for EVERYTHING I have. I cant believe I still have the bike, year I get that its a rebuilt title, but its also about 2K cheaper than everything else AND its a coveted 2010!!!! |

Can you give details on the crash that changed the title please? Thanks |

Last cyclone- I went down in deep gravel. The crash scratched up a lot of the parts ($2500 in parts are what I bought and that's at a discounted price). The frame was scratched up and that was the big factor for the insurance company. I cleaned up the frame and used the Buell touch up paint for the areas that needed it. They offered to sell it back to me for 6500 with an insurance claim paid title.... I told them it wasn't worth it and I waited for it to show up at auction and bought it back for $4500. I love the bike, but I have an opportunity to buy some land and need some extra cash for the down payment. |

I will never understand parting out a perfectly good motorcycle. |

Because no body is buying said perfectly good motorcycle. 2010 is rare but no one is going to buy whole thing for what it's worth so why would anyone buy the parts for what they are worth? |

There is a huge market for Buell parts and many of the parts I'm going to be listing are brand new. I have many obsolete parts that will fetch good money, the bike is truly worth more in pieces than whole. Like I said originally, I really wanted someone to buy the whole thing to keep it on the road, but no one is apparently seriously interested, of course all it takes is 1 buyer. Jrobey7- you had initial interest in the engine, I left you several PMs and no response. Also, regardless of what you "feel" it's worth,...... It's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay. I personally feel it was a good price I've listed it for, but without even any serious offers (or responses) it's hard to judge "worthiness". I offered to sell you the motor at half of MSRP (junkyard math). If you thought it was too high, all you have to do is counter with what you feel appropriate if truly interested. |

I hope that's true but as a veteran parter of Guzzi's I'll say good luck.. there's always some parts that don't sell and others you let go too cheap. Also isn't just about everything already available on ebay and some not selling? I usually get an older Guzzi for say $1500 and get a return over $2500 but right now I have most of a whole engine not sold and I dropped my price a lot.. the wheels and a few other parts got me even but the part out biz isn't as good as it used to be (for Guzzi's at least). then there's the shipping hassle of finding the right boxes and going to PO or FedEX. shipping prices have gone up too.

I parted out a KLR-250 I needed a head from... I couldn't believe what a hassle it was, and how little I ended up netting after deadbeats, shipping fees, auction fees, etc. Not to mention the time to break down, post auctions, and ship. If I had the cash right now, you'd have an offer already. My 07 (also salvage title) is on the lift with a nasty rattle. It would make more sense to part mine out and keep yours intact. Unfortunately my toy budget is gone until next year. |

Also, more aggressive spam filters are making PM's less reliable... so probably safer to use the PM feature to get a real email address, then communicate through that directly. |

Bike is still for sale. I don't think I will part it out. It's too nice and I don't need the money. |
