7-11 marks the 10 year anniversary of the passing of a dear friend of mine Andy Spiegal, and i need your help. Im looking for a picture that i took of him hours before he died. He was standing next to my RC51, and it was such a great picture. I have no idea where it went, and i do remember it being posted up here on BWB. If any of you might have hung on to it, please post it up here, along with any other Images and \ or stories of Andy. It goes without saying that a day doesnt pass that i think about you Andy. Till we meet again my freind... |

I remember Andy and those days Mikey. If I'm not mistaken, Andy was the first BadWeb friend we lost. Thank you for not forgetting, and remind us. For Andy Rocket in England |

Andy was a very special guy and I had some hilarious stories during my times with him. Andy was an enthusiast among enthusiast and . . . without even trying . . . became a legend in the Buell world for his friendly personality and his selflessness in helping Buell owners. Thank you MikeyP for remembering and reminding us. Court |

This all happened before I joined the Buell family but nonetheless I feel heartbroken to hear about this loss. It's a simple reminder for all of us about the fragility of life and how we should value the time we spend with our loved ones. Be safe. |

Thanks for the links 1313. It was nice to remember some the good ol' days of Buelling. One picture even has Cap in it. He is gone too. I'm sure Andy and him are schooling God on proper suspension setup. lol Witnessing Andy's death was a horrifying experience for sure, but it changed me for the better. It made me take chances in my professional life that i necessarily wouldn't have done before Andy's passing. I wasn't going to be afraid of living life to its fullest because i might die from it or become broke. Life is for taking chances. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have also learned to not make to many long term plans, and to go with the flow. Who knows what will be tomorrow? I live 5 minutes in front of me, and it seems to working for me. The one superstitious thing i do every time i get on my bike is this. I say to myself, "Today is not the day i will die on my motorcycle", and that too, seems to be working for me. |

Mikey P I had missed that Cap was not with us anymore also. Andy and Cap helped me set the suspension on the X1 Carbon Bike that got us into the great world of Buells. Long may they be remembered. |

I too had no idea of Caps passing. I remember riding with him at Deals Gap and he would fishtail his Hellcat through the turns. I often think of him and Andy. They truly understood the suspension on our bikes. Rest in peace. |

nicely said mikeyp. That is some great advice and a truly positive take on it. I didn't know Andy or Cap but their message has lived through them to you and now to me, thank you. |

I had no idea Cap was no longer with us. Didn't Jim just post the other day he was living somewhere else? I was interested in one of his S1W carbon tanks but I don't think he ever got past making the one he did. And he had a Hellcat too... that's a bike I wish more than any other I owned. Too many BadWeBers no longer with us. Rocket in England |
