I didn't realize there were actually different versions of the SPECOPS pipe! I've looked at my e-mail and I cannot find any information on it when I purchased it. I guess I made an assumption when I purchased it. I do see that it does not appear to have the xb12 actuator valve. But I am not sure if that helps or not. If someone knows this pipe well and can clear it up I would appreciate that. | ||

AFAIK there is only one spec opps pipe, BUT there is a 9 & 12 pipe which would make a difference. That is a 9 pipe converted, so there is no exhaust valve. It would work on a xb12 programmed to run with out the valve actuator. IE- race ECM for Jardine, spec opps, race can, hawk or any aftermarket pipe w/o use of actuator. OR it works on ALL XB9 as is, I'd suggest a race ECM programmed for the pipe or hawk, race as they are similar. That's a fair starting price but I'd have to offer less for it. PM me if you want the pipe gone for some reason, I'll make an offer. | ||

Yeah that's a modded 9 can, no valve so just gutted, so basically it's a Drummer.....I think 275 plus shipping is what they go for to have one done. That's not much mark down for being used, but I guess we're paying for convenience of getting to keep the stock can and no waiting? Do you still have it? I want it too. Come down a bit and it'll sell in a heartbeat. | ||

THe pricing for the pipe is what I paid before shipping, I am unaware what SPECOPS charges for the pipe now a days. I ordered this so I could run my bike up until the pipe arrived, but I found a deal on the RACE pipe while this was in the mail. I prefer to keep the OEM factory parts in case I decide for some bizarre reason to sell my bike I can restore it to Factory for the next owner to decide where he wishes to take it. Jrobey7... Thanks for the heads up. I thought in the end the pipes worked the same just the donor pipe was different. I do not HAVE to sell, I am just trying to clean off the spare parts shelves, 2 pipes on the shelf is 1 to many. You are more then welcome to make an offer if you want it. Sir_wadsalot... upon closer introspection after receiving the pipe I saw it was once a 9 can. I think it is a bit more then 275 when you factor in the donor can you must purchase unless you decide to have your own can chopped. Either way I am more then willing to consider fair offers of shipped or with shipping offers. Hell you close enough that shipping may be cheap or a ride to meet would work! | ||

Sir_wadsalot the lights I had mounted at one time below the triple tree. I went a different route if you look at my profile. The set includes a homemade bar to bolt on the tree and you would need to do some wiring for the lights as all I have is the pigtails and power cord. They are NOT ready to run. The wife and I are heading down to run Skyline and 211 in the morning... taking backroads from here in WV all the way down to Skyline all 105 miles of it and hwy 340 and 211 and back.
