BradJ, I'd be willing to talk trades, but at that price you'll probably get some quick cash for it. Mike.

Hey BradJ, you wanna trade for my 99 S3? It has the S3T bars, the taller windshield, and the Buell tankbag, and plenty of 1200cc power with the race ECM. If you want more info, look in the archives or email me - still haven't taken any good pictures (waiting for nicer weather). I had previously not wanted to trade, but my girlfriend is taking the motorcycle class in a couple weeks, and I'm sure she'd like a yellow bike to go with her yellow jacket (even though I might make her start on a smaller bike for a while). |

For a friend of mine... 1992 Yamaha TDM 850 Parallel Twin, 2,999 miles, great condition, strong motor, fresh service by dealer, $3,500US. Larger digital photos available. jeff@potter-architects.com or 903-235-5000 in Texas ask for "Jeff". As you can see on the left side tail and muffler, the big TDM has seen some off-road riding, minor cosmetic scratching, mere superficial scars of battle for a TDM. The venerable TDM is capable of taking you around the world or anywhere that a fire trail or logging road might access. It is equally at home on the pavement. This particular TDM has lived 99.9% of it's traveling life on pavement. Other than that, it has been garage stored and meticulously pampered. The bike is absolutely rock solid and near showroom clean, which unfortunately is more than I can say for the driveway. The spots on the driveway are NOT a product of the bike. Don't hesitate to make an offer on this machine if you are interested in a big dual sport. Thanks, Blake (for Jeff)

I HAVE A 2000 X-1 LIGHTNING WITH A NALLIN RACING 88" ENGINE KIT, RED SHIFT 585 CAMS, POWER COMMANDER, FORCE RACE PIPE W/BAFFLE AND ZIPPERS BILLET TRANSMISSION SUPPORT PLATE. IT PRODUCES 100.4 HP AND 92 TORQUE AT THE REAR WHEEL. THE HEADS ARE SLIGHTLY MODIFIED STOCK THUNDERSTORM HEADS WITH HIGH PERF SPRINGS AND ROLLER ROCKERS, SO THERE IS STILL MORE LEFT IN THE MOTOR. THE BODY IS BLACK AND THE TAIL SECTION AND SWINGARM HAVE BEEN POLISHED, AND I HAVE ADDED A SHARK TOOTH PULLEY FROM BUELL. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER MODS, THAT ARE TO MANY TO LIST. I WILL TRY TO POST PICS LATER. IF INTERESTED, YOU CAN CALL GUTTERRIDGE H-D/BUELL AND ASK FOR KEVIN. (217)446-4555 |

Denisea/Jerry/Ferris/pick-a-name-any-name ( ), Is this a "For sale - need cash" deal, or a "For sale - will consider an S2 in trade" deal? Just curious at this point seeing's as how it's snowing outside and I can't ride anyway. MikeJ. |

Read, done, and thanks. There's a guy on the site here with an XB9 who was maybe looking to swap for something, not sure if an S1 would be it for him though. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=21&post=241251#POST24 1251

Due to Harley-Davidson dealer agreements, we can only sell to purchasers who come into the store and sign the paperwork here. Sorry, no shipping out of state. Also, these prices are good until 3-31-04. Danny P&S, MD&B |

Bad customer service at Modesto Buell? Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I have dealt with them two or three times. Every time was a jaw dropping experience on just how good a Buell dealers customer service can be. Modesto is beautiful. Just get a cheap flight out there and ride the thing home. I live in Ohio and thought seriously about it...

>>>Good Pricing, Bad customer service... I can see why you have bikes still on the floor. Interesting comment that lands, until substantiated, in my soto voce' bin. Saying it doesn’t make it so. Modesto was one of the early dealers to get on the Buell bandwagon. I have never had any personal experience with them but do know the owner. I have read a number of good accounts provided by folks who do business with them. If you have had a bad experience, I'd sure let them know, they've proven that they listen and learn from customers. Absent that I'd dismiss the comment as an anomaly. Court

A Buell budd of mine in Toronto does mail order business with Modesto Buell and he speaks highly of them. Actually, he enthuses about them. $0.02 |
