Currently running a force exhaust but it keeps breaking exhaust studs and today i noticed a crack on one of the welds. Curious if anyone is running their new two piece design or if others have had these problems or what is everyone else using for an exhaust. Love the sound and power it makes but its becoming too much of a hassle. |

Sorry your having troubles. What mounting are you useing to hold pipe & muffler ? Myself I have stock head pipe with sports aftermarket muffler use the last update y mount at front of muffler & the stock mount at rear of muffler, I sometimes need to re tension the stud nuts but have not had them break. I ride the bike a lot m2 00 |

Force pipes until recently were one piece designs with a rubber loop for a front hanger. Terrible idea and terrible design. I had 3 and all broke. |

Andrew, let me know if yu're interested in the D&D. Lakes, if he doesn't want it I can happily ship to Australia. It's not cheap but it can be done for sure. I ship stuff to Gary in NZ quite a bit. |

I run the Buell race header and muffler. It seems like it's well built for the vibes. |

Appreciate the offer for the d&d but putting this on my bike would mean I'd need to put it back on the dyno and have it re-tuned. I was really hoping someone on here was using the new two piece force pipe. I guess I'll just deal with the problems I have and keep everything the same. |

In your case then I would do as I recommended to another member on here. If it's cracking, you'll have to weld it anyway, so might as well weld some solid tabs to mount it to the hanger (make sure the cracks are welded and it's properly adjusted first), then cut the header about 2" or so after the collector and weld on a slightly larger slip joint onto the muffler portion, cutting reliefs into the slip joint, but not all the way through it, so you can put a clamp on it to tighten it down onto the header, just as a typical tuber header/muffler combo setup. |
