Hey Mikej, Thanks for the link-but those horns are a little to big to stick under the X1 Tank! I'm putting Carbon Fiber Accents on the tank but the X1 horn is a little big-that's why I want a Buell "Blast" horn. They're smaller in diameter and should fit under the tank nicely. |

Belookin- I have seen the Blast horn on a lot of cars, its a pretty standard part. I heard once that it is the exact horn from a V.W. bug, but dont know if thats true or not. Anyway good luck, and please post pics when your done. |

Belookin, Also check out some marine/boat supply stores. Some of their horns are small and are also extremely loud. I saw one that was way smaller than the one on my M2. |

I was joking about the Buell air horns. I was serious about the compact boating horns. The marine style horns hold up well to constant vibration, come in very compact sizes, don't need a lot of power to run them, and integrated so that you don't also need a separate air compressor, and are well suited to wet weather use like one often finds on a bike. But of course, the Blast horns are nice too. Just giving you some options to consider. Now put your finger back in the holster. |

about the horn on the X1... Even better than getting a smaller one is to relocate it. I was able to put mine behind the flyscreen. I mounted it to the headlight clamp. Only minor modifications are required, and the wires reach too! Thought you may want to know... |
