Hey Guys, Tomorrow a buddy of mine is going to help me install the NHRS 515 Kit onto my blast. I have: ALL GASKETS, NEW HEAD BOLTS (4), NEW ROCKER BOX BOLTS (4), ASSEMBLY LUBE, ALL NEEDED TOOLS, LOCTITE (RED), and am going to pick up 4 of the long bolts that run through the entire engine and connect with the head bolts. I was curious if the bolts to hold the engine up (if I lowered it to install the NHRS KIT) are reusable? Or, are they too torqued? Also, how exactly do I lower the engine to install the kit? Can't find any information on how to do this. My buddy wants me to bring my extra engine over, put the kit on that, and then swap the engines another day, but I think we will be able to kill two birds with one stone. Any technical information about lowering the engine and any bolts that are not reusable that I havent mentioned would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!! |

I'm also worried about exactly what you'll be using red loctite on? You'll need anti-seize compound, but very little will use the red loctite. |
