My Taiwan one has been perfect so far. Have about 3000 miles on it so far with the oiling rotor. Still charges just the same as when I put it in. |

I'm using stock Buell stator with EBR rotor for 7000 miles. No problems so far. |

I ended up going with the Taiwan made Ricks stator and it seems to be pretty solid so far (only have 50miles on it since the install). At idle the volts are 13.7-13.8 and when riding they are 14.0-14.2 depending on the bikes rpm's. Overall I'm pleased with it and I hope it will last a long time. |

I've got stock Buell stator replaced under factory warranty, in 2011. After that I installed EBR rotor and Compufire regulator. No problems since then. |

Thanks for the feedback - I might try the Taiwan stator. My pockets aren't deep enough for the $600 stock one. Also heard from a buddy of mine in Canada that Rick's is coming out with a Hot Shot rec/reg for these. Wonder how that will compare to the Compufire. How much was that one? |
