Bunch of Blast parts, V&H exhaust, boots, mirrors, headlight, etc. Bunch of parts for sale as I convert the bike. Getting ready to move, so I need this stuff to be gone as well. I'm trying to price it all very competitively - I'll pay the paypal fees, you pay actual shipping (I won't overcharge on shipping). 1. V&H SS2-R exhaust. This is well used, has some scratching from the years, and needs to be packed. Let me say that again - the exhaust needs to be packed...it's pretty much a straight pipe right now. Otherwise, it's in good shape - no leaks and no holes in the exterior. Includes the header (currently titanium wrapped), flange, old flange nuts and circlip. Clamp is in good shape even if discolored - all bolts/washers are present and nothing is sheared. You will need new bolts for the kickstand mount holes. Header pipe in great, solid shape. Whole system $80. 2. One good shape right rear/left front OEM turn signal. No issues with this one at all - $12 (they retail for stupid prices as you know). 3. Pair of OEM turn signals that work perfectly, but the arms are somewhat cracked. I used these for 5 months with no issues, and with black electrical tape supporting the arms they even look okay. They are, however, pretty worn - how about $10 for the pair. 4. OEM clutch and brake lever. Fantastic condition for both of them...clutch lever is practically new. $27 for the clutch lever and $20 for the brake lever (it's just slightly older but still practically perfect). 5. OEM spark plug wire - in good shape...I just went with AutoZone's cable right from the start. $4 6. Two manifold couplers (boots). These are OEM. One is newer, one is older, both have no cracks are issues. $6 for the newer, $4 for the older. 7. Sylvania Halogen (9200) lamp for the Blast. I went with the Hella and found out that these are really the same solution - my new one is no brighter, but it's installed, so I'll sell this one. Still an upgrade from the OEM headlight and in great shape. $20 8. Set of mirrors (OEM). These are both OEM, but on the right side is the older plastic/vinyl mounted mirror and the left one is the steel throughout one. These are in great shape with all hardware and rubber protective screw boot. These are stupid expensive on ebay used and ridiculous from Harley direct. Hmmmm....how about $11 for the vinyl/plastic and $16 for the steel one. 9. NGK iridium DPRX9EIX plug. Great plug for the Blast - I just went with the Brisk. Perfect condition - $5 10. Lastly (for now) - a dynojet 8111 kit for the Blast. NOTE - you do NOT want this as your jetting solution for your Blast. It's probably the worst solution out there. That being said, if you're the tinkering type and want something like this for experimentation, this is your kit. It's complete, with all jets, needle, spring, bits, washers, instructions, stickers, etc. Complete kit for less than half price - $30. Again - I'll pay the paypal fees - you just pay actual shipping. Sycho, They're yours. Just to make sure you know, the V&H is used and needs to be packed. It's a perfectly good system; however, it needs some TLC. I'll PM you. Jay |

Vince - I love your honesty about the kit - so true!!! - the however is: if they buy the larger jets and use the Buell tuber twin guide for jetting - they will be golden. The flaw to that kit is that all the jets go lower and not higher, due to the fact that they tested using a Kerker and a dry new K&N filter - which actually as a combo performed worse than stock, so they jetted down to increase performance, actually making it leaner, as their un-corrected dyno result showed. Schmucks, still if you order a few extra larger jets from them and go with a larger primary jet - 45 or 46 - depending on exhaust - it would then be a decent kit. EZ |

Thanks, EZ.... I appreciate the explanation for anyone watching this. I figure someone out there may want to at least tinker with this kit as a comparison, etc. The needle is probably not bad at all as it's a clippable needle that's easy to move fatter or leaner as needed. Wish Dynojet hadn't gone so weird on their main jet solution (backwards) - they might have put together a decent kit all together. |
