Hey guys just prepping my bike for a track day tomorrow and I need to get my throttle loosened up. Last track day I did they said i was pushing it because it barley closes on its own. What do I need to do to cure this problem? Thanks

Could be the vent hose on your airbox is rubbing up against the throttle linkage (common problem if the hose is not attached right or has moved). To check this you need to remove the airbox cover, remove the top of the airbox, and check the fit of that vent hose.

It could also be the bar end catching on the grip.

The throttle cables are very sensitive to proper routing. I'd wager that is your problem but it sounds like you've investigated and corrected that? Did you remove the cables at the throttle bodies and check that the butterflies aren't binding at full open?

I had a problem a while back like this, the cam where the cable sits and rides on the throttle body was actually rotating and sticking into my wiring harness...couple zip ties properly holding the harness pulled it away giving the throttle body cam rotaty thingy plenty of room to turn freely.

It doesn't seem to be the throttle bodies Its like the cables had shot. I think I'll just order a brand new set and start from there. Has anyone put a motion pro throttle on one of these?

George check that the TB's are seated in the spigots, I missed that one and had some issues with the throttle binding.

I have motion pro on mine, you will have to call them and asked them to make a set just like they made for Geoff May's 1190rs. other wise you will have to measure all the stuff. They have the measurement in their race department. I run my 1125 as a track only bike now and I love the 1/4 throttle.
