Use the link below to determine if the State of Missouri is holding any unclaimed cash belonging to you or your relatives...Usually the way that this happens is either an unclaimed bank account that is inactive for a long period of time, or a check that was issued and never cashed...The issuing business is then required to forward these funds to the State... http://www.treasurer.missouri.gov/ucp/ucp1.asp Good Luck! I'm having more problems with my X1. I thought I had it all straightened out and put a Force Streetfighter pipe on it. Sounds sweet and has massive power. It stalled while warming up a few weeks ago and I couldn't get it to fire again. Frank thought it was a sensor but told me to change plugs just in case. The plugs did the trick and it was running again. About a week ago my brother asked me to go for a ride and of course I thought it might be safe to venture away from my house.. Well.. Once we got out on the hwy and I started rolling back on the throttle it started breaking up and missing really bad. I pull over and stop and it runs fine. I try again and it breaks up again and as I start to slow down it cures itself and we ride a few miles without problem. Today I start it and let it warm up.. 30 mph drive to the air pumps to check pressure then it's to the base gate and out on the hwy. I ended up pushing it back.. It broke up and backfired then only one cylinder. I shut it down and now it won't fire. I guess I could waste more money on another set of plugs to see if they are fouled.. I really envy those of you who can leave your driveway with confidence that you might go more than 5 miles without pushing. What did I do to deserve this? Maybe I should get it "running" and sell it. I had a Honda last and never had a lick of trouble with it. I wanted to be different and support my country! I wanted Made in America but all I seem to have gotten is an expensive exercise machine.... |

Wayne, It sounds like the same thing mine did when the rear head temp sensor went out. When this sensor goes out, it will run on one cyclinder or it will intermitently run on one cyclinder. Hope this helps. If I remember correctly the sensor only costs around $15. Hope this helps. Keith p.s. oops almost forgot, check the kickstand sensor and bypass it, if you still have one.

Dwayne,we were told some interesting information, the last trip to Millwalkie.Eric Buell was telling the group, that the bike manufactures have a independent group that follows all motorcycle makes reliability ect.....To make a long story short,Buell was at the top of the list, not the bottom. So,when and if you buy that Jap bike,if it breaks down or fails THEN WHAT!All bikes have bikes that have glitches,if youre against the fuel injection problems, you can make it carburated. |

I am going to try and participate in the Rider Class out at KCKCC in April. With the Buell discount, that is a great deal and will get me a decent discount on my insurance with GEICO. My X1W is at Worth North today having a set of Pirelli Diablos put on it. When I weighed the cost of mounting and balance, shipping cost of the tires, etc. It was actually a decent deal to buy them from Worth, have them installed correctly without a hassle of running around town to ge it done, send in the coupon from Pirelli for a free front tire, and later this year after I run the bejesus out of this set, I will only be out the cost a a new rear tire, mounting and balancing. Not a bad deal and I don't have to have my bike out of commission for more than one day. Hope all you KC Buellers got through the winter OK, looking forward to seeing you guys around town this spring as I am able. Got a big job change in the works, my schedule will be changing a bunch for the better I hope. |

Dwayne, Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your bike. When I bought my S2 last summer, the bike would break down when the engine got hot. Frank discovered the problem was a sensor, and once this was corrected, the bike has been reliable. Hopefully, something minor like a sensor is all you need to not have to worry about breaking down anymore. I've had japanese sportbikes in the past, but they don't compare to the fun I've had w/ this bike. Neill |

Thanks for all the support. I just get so damn dissapointed. My legs are litterally sore from pushing the bike a mile. You don't want to know how embarrased I am. People often stop me and ask about the bike and I have stopped telling them how much fun it is because it really hasn't been any fun. I will call Frank and give it one more chance. Even Frank after seeing all the receipts for service thinks I got a really bad apple. I have had many bikes before. I even rode in Europe for 5 years. I know this bike shouldn't spend almost a year total shop time in the first 6500 miles. I'm glad I haven't had to pay for all the labor or the parts Blue Springs trashed!! Springfield was kind enough to good will all of those. Needless to say Central is the third dealer to try. Frank is the only one to make any progress so I will give them another whack before it goes. |

Dwayne...I feel very bad for you at this point and now even bad for Frank...It is hell in business to pick up where others have failed and often leads to another dissappointment...Let's hope this is not the case for Frank but he has a tough row to hoe...Go get 'em, big guy we're all pulling for you, Frank...Dwayne, let us know how this turns out... Good Luck, Bob |
