I am putting the original style fender, and wind screen back on my ulysses. All of the factory bolts, and grommets are gone. What does everyone recommend for attaching the tall windscreen? Would it be best to order the factory grommets? What would be a good size clip over nut to hold the lower front fender together?I should probably drag the center fender to the hardware store, and size it up. Thanks |

What do you currently have for mounting the current wind screen? I personally recommend using this time to buy adjustable windscreen brackets, so you can adjust the tilt and height to minimize buffeting I recommend this one, it works great with the various OEM Buell windscreens http://s410372035.initial-website.co.uk/accessorie s/select-bike/buell-xb12x-xt/ |

The current windscreen is all in one with the flyscreen. It attaches as the flyscreen. I intend to purchase the palmer brackets, but will need some time. I am changing everything to barricade orange, and going back to original front fender.

I buy fasteners in bulk from toatallystainless.com. Ace hardware has the washers. |

I had to buy the buell because my son wouldn't let me ride the green machine. |

I can understand exactly why you want the original windscreen back on! Not to mention the original fender. Nice in white, though. |

If you want factory, try Lance at St Paul Harley. He had the shoulder bolt/washer I needed when it fell out of my beak. |

I looked it up, you will need 3 screws and 3 washers to add the beak. The screws are 1/4-20 shoulder screws with Torx 27 head, part number CA0018.02A8 and the washers are clear nylon, part number CB0009.02A8 |

How did my old bike get to Maryville, TN? Last time I saw it, it was in the back of a pickup headed to Arkansas. How's it running? |

Maryville Tn?? What?? How did one of my Uly's old riding partners end up in my neighborhood? For most of the fasteners on the Uly try visiting the local Lowes store with a list of, or similar bolt/nuts, to what you need. They have thread gages and sizing tools and lots of what fits in stainless with neat little plastic covers and washers and such. |

Geesh. Now I feel self conscious for not having color matched the covers on my Hepco's.

I nearly sent you an IM last week Wolf thought there was a good chance it used to belong to you. It is interesting that it was headed to Arkansas. I picked it up in Tullahoma, TN. |
