Just got my 1125r a few weeks ago, and I'm wondering if anybody can tell me if when ordering from DDMtuning.com if I need the error code eliminator? I am going to order the HID's and want to make sure i get everything I need. Thanks |

Some needed a timer of sorts to make them come on after the bike starts to avoid a voltage drop issue. I went to led's and haven't looked back. I even used them when I did my firebolt conversion. I used H4's so both headlights work on high and low. There are other posts on here about them. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/737422.html?1398967849 I am not saying the DDM kit is a bad lit, you still would have to deal with the heat issue's inherit with HID's |

I installed a kit from DDMtuning, didn't use a code eliminator, didn't use a time Working fine, no issues |

same as Sprintst no error code and no timer I have HID from DDM in my xb, the CR, a Harley bagger and the Mrs's Jeep Only once in her Jeep did one ballast give me issues and that was after a torrential down pour and ran it threw a big puddle. after it dried out it was fine. |

The error code eliminator is for some cars (mostly BMWs) that can detect if the bulb is out. Our bikes are a bit "stupid" and don't know, no code needed. A delay timer relay or some other kind of switch is not needed, but it is nice to make starting the bike easier. That way they don't put any strain on the battery during before you start the engine, also HIDs don't like being switched on and off when cold. |
