Okay, so a bit over 10k miles, no issues until I did a bunch of repair work for a leaking gasket, valve check, cam replacement, etc....

Everything is working great now.......except

I have one highway I ride that I pull a check engine light on it. It's the same road, not the speed, gear, etc.... I can put hundreds of miles on during the day, but when I leave on this road, it happens, when I return, it happens

I can't read the code, since the computer is still full of codes that haven't cleared yet from the previous condition.

Anyone have any ideas? It does seem to happen near some big transmission lines, but I can shut down, restart, clear the light and have it pop again a mile down the road.

This is just bizarre

Not helpful, but this reminds me a of a kid I had class with in college. He had aspergers. He used to complain that his truck would shut off when he drove by a welding shop down the road from our class. Every time it happened he tried to convince me it was some weird "rays" that welding gave off, and it was messing with his ECM. Took us weeks to finally make him realize he was bumping the key with his knee when he was turning.

I'm not 100% positive on this, but disconnecting the battery for a length of time SHOULD clear your old codes out. Then when it pops on next time you go down the road, pull over and pop it in diag mode. I'm interested to see what this code it.

Disconnecting the battery won't clear the codes, you need to either wait it out or use TunerPro to clear them out.

Stock or Race ECM?
