Its a piece I played in Jazzband originally in highschool. Glen Miller was one of the influences to that ROck and Roll you so love. Course we are also talking the late 40's early 50's mind you. Mind you...I am typing this while listening to Disturbed so that tells you were my priorities fall |

tomarrow my bike will be in tucson harley, Its going to take them all day to replace or clean the speedo sensor. Everyone on the boards say its a 15 min job, Damn you tucson harley. Bastards dont relize how hard it is for me to get my bike there working 14 hour days. Oh yeah and IF it does need a new sensor then they will have to order it and ill have to bring it in AGAIN! i feel like driving it right though their window. Ben |

Wycked...Glen Miller??? Why do I get the feeling you have been visiting Your Granny in the Home again! FYI, You are quite correct in your impression that he and his contemporaries paved the way for Rock'n'Roll. Well, at least according to my Mom who was a concert pianist back then. Anybody find the Fountain of Youth yet? Me thinks I need a dip!!! |

Ben...Calm down and take a 'Lude. It will be alright. Let them take their time and get the job done right. Breathing down their necks isn't going to help you one bit. Now if you had weather conditions like we have up here in Wisconsin and it was in the middle of the way too short riding season, I could see your point. However, having spend 30 wonderful years in fun in the sun So Cal...My best suggestion is to relax and enjoy. Be nice to your dealer and they will be nice to you when you really need it. Just some words of wisdom from a dumb old guy! |

OK, getting back to Buell type discussions: Need tires on the S3T. I don't ride all that hard (hey, it's not an S1 / X1). I am currently running the Bridgestone 020's, and they work fine for me - but - I see the Pirelli Diablo Sports are on sale for $180 A SET!! What kind of mileage and wet/dry handling could I expect from these. Note that I am on my second set of tires at 18.6K miles, and the rear is still good (except for the nail, anyway). |

02buells, I bought my rear Diablo for $120 with the front free! There's a coupon on the Pirelli web site that'll ship you the front for $20. I'm actually waiting for my front to get in so I can get them mounted at the same time. I'm not sure what to expect, but have read nothing but good things. The link to the coupon should be on the XB board and check www.azmotorsports.com or www.discountmotorcycletire.com for the rear. Good luck!

Hey David...were you going down Escalante at about 2:30 this afternoon? I saw what looked like an XB9R from a distance. I was heading north on Kolb and was a little ways back. The guy was wearing one of those orange safety vests so I figured it may have been you and you had been riding on base or something. |
