Why not just buy a new Saddlemen seat from Al? |

If u could give me a link that would be great! I have been looking online for seats and all I can find are Corbin seats and they don't look all that comfortable they kind of look the same as the stock ones as far as thickness. |

Reports are that the Corbin is actually thinner than stock. That is one of the reasons I was considering a Corbin. |

Gonna run into a back-order situation with Al. Might be resolved by now but as of last week he said there would be a "couple of weeks" delay in shipping said seat. Worth the wait IMHO. |

Just to add to this topic does anyone know of the best touring seat for a CR that doesnt add any height to the bike. I have legs like t-rex arms and am on tippy toes when sitting on the bike atthe traffic lights and have to get off the bike and push it backwards on awkward manourvoures. Cheers from Australia Tim |

The foam Corbin uses is very firm, but comfortable because of the slightly dished shape. It also drops the seat height aprox. one inch if I remember correctly. I've done two 3,000 mile trips on it in the last four years and love it. As far as I know, Corbin is the only seat that's lower than the stock seat. |

The Saddlemen center channel has a cooling effect. On a warm summer morning, I felt a jet of cool air where the good lord split me when getting on the freeway! My carbon (?) seat is extremely well built. Saddlemen even gives you a matching pillion seat cover! |

I have a saddleman with the channel. Great seat, highest quality materials, and it doesnt get as hot as the stock seat. My only issue and it`s just personal preference is that it sits you higher on the bike. I like the stock for how thin it is but I feel like my loins have sunburn after long rides. |

FINALLY received notification that the Saddleman shipped! Factory delay, nothing that AmericanSportbike could do to hurry up the order. Also got Vibrinator(sp?) set coming. Gonna be a whole new feeling (I hope). |
