Just thought I'd say hello to everyone and show what I picked up couple months ago and how it looks now. Its my first buell, love the style of the tube frames It's an 02 x1w with 15k miles picked it up for $3k. Painted the tail, put on xb lights and housing, made a custom dash plate out of lexan (have to bend it down to clear top of wind screen). Next up is a tube frame tail and eventually xb wheels as well as painted bits. Before After |

The mustang is a 98 cobra convertible. I have no idea what kind of exhaust it is, The muffler looks like those glass pack car muffler tubes like cherry bombs or something. It's pretty loud and I'm almost positive it's zaping power by being to free flowing |

The headlight conversion was pretty easy, just drill three holes on the upper clamp tap them and mount it up. Used some spacers for the bolts between the clamp and housing and made a bracket for the bottom of the headlight to mount to the lower clap. If anyone's interested I can give more detail just pm me. The "diamond" thing is just the picture. And the tube frame tail as in I'm going to get some metal tubing and custom bend up a tail section to match the frame. |
