New member, Hello. Here is a shot of the 1998 S1 I adopted today. My first Buell, I've rode it three times and I'm so hooked it's not even funny. Its got 6,600 miles and its tricked out pretty nice. |

Nice find! Now for the bad news... You're new addiction can only be fed by buying more bikes and modifying them with shiny stuff and go-fast parts! Welcome to the club! |

Welcome Shawn! I hate you!!! I need an S1 badly! Great looking bke. How about going over some of the mods? From what I can see in the picture I see a chain conversion, new style swingarm, Crossroads (maybe) swingarm stay, slip on, shock? Them thar S1's sure are a classic!! Welcome aboard! Brad

Oooh...purdy. Welcome to the club! one of my co-workers has a 98 S1WL that he's planning on selling at the end of the year...I must have it. I can finally afford it...but at the same time there's that damned responsible voice in the back of my head going, 'What do you need a THIRD Buell for?' -=smacks conscience around=- |

Not sure about some of the stuff. Carbon Fiber front and rear fender. Chain conversion, new swing arm, penske rear shock, pipe. Heads are ported and polished, matched to a new set of cams. |

Thanks. Another mod to add to the list, the fuel tank, although I'm not sure why, it looks thinner than the original which I have as well as all the other stuff that was replaced. Belt drive, fenders, seat, carb, a whole jet kit, exhaust gaskets, five sets of new screamin eagle plugs. I'm sure you can tell I'm really excited to own this bike. |

One more thing, the bike was original bought from Dick Farmer's Harley-Davidson in Orlando, FL. I live in Las Vegas. |

Glad you found us Shawn, but be warned Buells are like having kids, your life is never the same again! Hey Andy, is she the R or S version? If the R please post a pic in S mode. |
