Anyone removed the gearcase cover on a 2000 S3. Do you have to remove the pushrods first? I'm trying to replace my oil lines and can't get access with the gearcase cover on the motor? Any special tools needed? |

Yes to the first and no to the third. Not sure about the second as it isn't really a question? |

Thanks Essmjay, This site is so great! With the help of this website, I have replaced my crankseal, rockerbox gaskets and several other small improvements. I'm an industrial tax consultant by trade but there's nothing like getting your hands dirty working on a Buell. Thanks again. |

it would be easier to just unbolt the oil pump and drop that down to get access to the oil lines. |
