the pics are great! Glad to see everyone having a good time, and getting good use of their tires. Now that's what riding is all about! the yahoo group is riding the same route tomorrow, only the reverse direction, and without the run up to the salt river canyon. I may tag along, whatcha think david? My neighbor just got in from the desert, (Afganistan) and will be rolling his GSXR 750 out of storage tomorrow. man is that dude skinny now. Don't they feed you in the Air Force? he he he |

damn you buelligans. Ive only been able to hit speedway and craycroft and just cruiseing around town for the last couple weeks. My speedo still hasnt been fixed so im still not putting on any miles on the bike =) well none that the odometer will say. the dude that knocked over my bike bought all the parts and had them shipped with 2 day shipping i replaced them on friday night. I was able to sand the scratches down, now the bike just needs some buffing. I left the break lever bent like it was because its kinda cool and fits my fingers well. Hopefully ill get the speedo fixed this week; tucson harley wouldnt fix it on my lunch hour. The dude said they need to have the bike all day for that 15 minute job. So i need to somehow take the bike to tucson harley and pick it up in the midst of working a 14 hour day.... bastards... Ben |

Hey all... Damn the ticket dispensers... I am glad it was a little one though. Beautiful day. I ended up getting home about 8:15 (12 HOURS!). I took my time because I knew there was NO frickin way I was getting from Globe to Prescott in two and a half hours (well, w/o a chopper following me most of the way...). Luckily they're showing a replay of the F1 race tonight at 7:00 so I'm just doing my best to stay away from anyplace that may give me the results. Anyway, Thanks all for showing up. Thanks Art for showing me my new favorite road. We'll have to do the whole circle at some point when I have more time . When are we all going to get together and do a track day? |

Looks like I'll be bikeless this week. I need to get my new rubber on my bike and I'm still waiting on my front tire to get here from Pirelli. I, the weather magnet, promise sunny days for the rest of the week 'cuz I won't be riding...at all! |

Bartimus it was a song by Glen Miller written to his at the time girlfriend. The movie I referenced is "The Glen Miller Story". Its a nice swing/bigband piece that is rather catchy. |

Glen Miller? No wonder, isn't he that drunk loser that lives in Phoenix? I was into rock and roll, dude, not that rhinestone cowboy stuff. <no wonder the 60's are still hazy> |
