I've got a '99 X1 front peg set. Looking for 20.00 shipped. Waiting on another Badwebber to pay on a boomerang shifter. If he doesn't pay soon, I'll ping you back on that also. Let me know if you are interested. Kevin |

The peg is a Sportster part, it unscrews and can be replaced. they were reasonably inexpensive iirc. Kevin |

I was told by my parts guy the shifter peg is diferent than a sporty and would need to be drilled and tapped. |

On my '01 X-1, the thread is 1/4-20, IIRC. When I broke mine, I used a 2in long 1/4-20 bolt and nut. Fortunately still had the rubber, so put the rubber on, then the nut, into the arm, and tightened the bolt to the arm with the nut. Locktite, as always. Worked well until I got a replacement. Kept it as a spare. |

Ak I have been using something like that bit wrapping the bolt with electrical tape. |

I did that until I laid the bike down again and the bolt broke the boomerang. |
