I am in the middle of a rotor swap and ran into a little snag. In removing the muffler I cannot get the left front mounting bolt off. It appears to be spinning on a nut behind the oil cooler. I tried using a screwdriver and chisel to push in there to try and keep the nut from spinning. I sprayed some WD40 back there and will leave it for a day or so. Any thoughts or ticks to get this thing out without having to drill out the bolt. |

There is a nut back there. You have to get a wrench on it. It's not easy, but can be done. I don't remember if I used a box end wrench, or some sort of socket extensions and U joints. It has been years ago since I removed that for an aftermarket exhaust. |

If I recall, you can get directly to that nut by using an open end wrench and lowering it vertically from the top of the cooler bracket. |

Just buy the flex head wrench. I bought one from Lowes and it paid for itself already just for this job. It worked so well I decided to buy a set for other jobs.

After a lot of practice now, I can easily get a standard box end wrench on and off |
