I think he means the updated front exhaust mount for a tuber. I don't think XBs have those. Since I am so helpful, can you cut me a sweet deal on an XB9S engine? | ||

I've gotta ask, why are all these bikes being relegated to "parts" status? That makes me sad... Nice to have supplies of parts of course, but I hate to see the quantity of bikes on the road shrinking... | ||

two of the bikes listed here would have titling issues (one wrecked and the other a theft recovery), so I've no doubt they were bought cheap and parted out for that reason. | ||

Most have broke damaged frames. Would you rather see them melted down or recycled to keep other Buells going? If I remember correctly he had a XB12X that had offers of $1500 for the whole bike... There in lies the problem. You have knuckle heads trying to buy them for unreasonable prices, whose going to buy rebuilt or salvage, theft recovery bikes? Paul is reasonable offer to take 2 or 3 bikes and rebuild them for the street. "Money where the mouth is" I think the term is? I think it's cool he takes the time, his prices are very reasonable considering American Sport Bike & other parts sellers... | ||

All these bikes are salvage title and/or for parts only paperwork. All the frames are dented beyond covering with a frame puck. I have good frames and will be rebuilding some. If i could keep them all i would. One car garage limits me a little bit lol | ||

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy to see parts recycled at reasonable prices. Just seemed odd when I read in 1 message "just picked up 6 parts bikes". Heck, I don't even know 6 Buells in the Rochester NY area if you take the 4 I own out of the equation. They're uncommon enough that to see that many available as parts sources at once caught my attention. But, if these are potentially "streetable" bikes (albeit not without some effort by a passionate potential owner) being parted out - well, that's what I would consider to be a bummer... Given the finite and ever decreasing population of 'em, it's a downward spiral. | ||
