IIRC, there was a post in one of these threads that says EBR will have at least limited involvement with AMA Superbike this year (maybe with Cory West riding?). | ||

(A) Cory is officially listed as an entrant. (B) I am going. Will camp in the Geico Caveman camp site. In the usual location near the fence at turn 3 close to be bathroom. As usual, my bivouac will have hot coffee in the mornings for all Buellers and other malcontents with related tendencies. I also will be bringing some firewood. | ||

Pegram and Cory will be racing EBR's out of Pegrams truck, but with different sponsorship. I am pretty sure that the truck pictured is on the way to Daytona with display bikes. | ||

Of course my primary interest is the Superbike races not the 200. I will be online watching the live timing to follow Cory. | ||

Sorry Hank I like Cory I like the racers. Met quite a few. Great people crew and all. But this is not there fault and watching it on my computer just wont happen for me. I pay dearly every month for Direct TV and all the channels im willing to pay for. I can watch last years news On Pegram and his Superbike reality show for 30min but I can't watch whats going on today in our own national series?? Snowmobiling as coverage for petes sake. | ||

This is going to be Cory's umbrella girl at Daytona. She is Erika Winters and is the granddaughter of Cory's great uncle Leroy Winters who was a famous off-road rider and member of the AMA Hall of Fame. Talk about some distraction!!!  (Message edited by RioHondoHank on March 12, 2014) | ||

Dana, I remember a time before the internet or motorcycle racing on TV when we had to anxiously wait for our copy of Cycle News to learn the results of the races. My first job after a race when I was tuning for Cory's dad was to call back to Oklahoma City with the news. I am thankful that we at least have the internet now, but hope somebody steps in and gives road racing the promotion it deserves. Of course I am biased but know that it far more exciting than cage racing. | ||

Sounds like the other classes will be shown, but you would think a decent press release would include a schedule of the broadcasts. |
