19X18. 19mm piston with 18mm lever offset is what most people use. I use a 20.5X14 Beringer. It's an unusual setup but I really like it. |

Lever offset, how is that best described and what does it do? |

The lever offset is the distance between the hinge point of the lever, and where it contacts the MC piston. The greater the distance, the less mechanical advantage available to apply force to the piston. The larger the piston, the more fluid it moves per mm of travel, so the pads get to the disk quicker, but more force is required. So it's a balancing act between mechanical advantage and fluid volume and lever travel/feel. My MC has a big 20.5 mm piston which moves a lot of fluid, so the offset is only 14mm for leverage. I sacrifice a little extra lever travel, for great power and feel. If you want more details go here - http://www.lemickracing.com/index.php/tech/underst anding-brake-master-cylinders |

I run a Brembo 19RCS Brake MC and it is a 19mm piston and the offset is switchable between 18 and 20. |

You guys are champs! Thank you! I will probably go with 19x18 since i like more sensitive input. |
