That comparo is quite revealing. I might be wrong but I think the HERO would sell well in the UK if it were known as an EBR (Buell). I just think it will take years for the myth of cheap utilitarian whatever label, to leave the likes of Indian (perhaps never for Chinese) built bikes. That said. MCN ran a great feature a couple of weeks back after visiting Enfields state of the art new production facility in India. You could have produced food in the place it were so laboratory like, except they were building motorcycles. Enfield doing well is no bad thing for HERO. Rocket in England |

The diesel has a PTO. My adventure bike is also my emergency house generator. |

I've got to see the turbo for a 150cc diesel; it must be T-I-N-Y. |

Now to have an S1 styled 250 Hero bike......600 would be cool too.......HERO is not a bad name. REX You are right about HERO being associated with EBR. I think it will draw more attention to the Brand, connected to EBR in the USA. Maybe even in Europe too. |

The diesel is a very interesting concept. Having the motorcycle motor would be beneficial and you might be able to sneak another bike purchase past the wife by claiming you are buying a backup generator with wheels. |

Hmmmmm.... something as in the vein of this Royal Enfield, powered by a Lombardini (?) diesel? I really appreciate the old school highbrow look of this machine. For a single, it definitely has great presence for a diminutive 401cc.
