I've recently installed a Flex-glass ram-air body kit on my '08 1125R. I'm looking for some advice from those of you who have installed this kit and what your experiences have been with this kit. One issue that I'm having is clearance between the side panels and the upper radiator tubes. The left side is particularly bad, causing the side panel to stick out so far that I'm rubbing the panel on the track in left hand corners. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=6812304385 58685&set=a.672005399481189.1073741829.10000015204 3884&type=3&theater I know I need to bend the tubes in somewhat but I'm curious how some of you have accomplished that without destroying them. I'm also curious if anyone else is running a Barker's Exhaust slip on with this kit? The muffler sits to the right of centerline of the bike and prohibits the belly pan from being placed any higher (as is visible in the above photo). This is also causing the belly pan to rub on the track when leaned over to the right. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=6806575319 49309&set=a.672005399481189.1073741829.10000015204 3884&type=3&theater Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. |

There's a step by step install thread here somewhere.... in any case, you have to bend the upper radiator tubes inward to get the bodywork to close (at least I did). By hand, carefully.... |
